Join us on Saturday, August 19th from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Preserve to learn how to identify and control Maine’s most common and harmful invasive plant species. This workshop, led by knowledgeable high school student Max Card, will focus on the natural history, identification, and removal options for invasive plants found at PHP and very likely in your backyard, like Japanese knotweed, Oriental bittersweet, Japanese barberry and Autumn Olive.  Send us an email to sign up or just meet at the kiosk near the parking lot the day of. Hope to see you there.
