Seasonal Story Hike: Winter at Warren Woods
January 15, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm$5.00
Get bundled up and ready to go for a hike! Winter in Maine may be chilly but it is also an exciting time explore nature. Many animals are still out and about while others hibernate and the snow and ice add a new and beautiful element to fields and forests. Join Kelly, a SLT volunteer and youth educator, on a winter exploration hike and story walk to learn more about how animals adapt to the winter and survive the chilly weather!
Please wear warm and comfortable footwear for walking and bring water, warm clothes, and a snack. If you have binoculars, feel free to bring them along!
Seasonal Story Hikes with Kelly
Scarborough Land Trust is excited to announce a new seasonal hike and stories program series, led by SLT volunteer and youth educator Kelly! These hikes will give children the opportunity to learn more about how different seasons shape the environment and how these changes affect flora and fauna that inhabit Scarborough Land Trust preserves through exploration and stories.
