DESCRIPTION:Photo: Sunburst Lichen and Yellow-rumped Warbler by Abby Wilson\n  \nAbby Wilson is SLT’s Summer Education and Communications Specialist. She enjoys walking the properties and identifying wildflowers\, trees\, lichens\, and other members of the natural world. Join her on a general nature walk to the observation platform and back at Libby River Farm Preserve.  \nExplore nature near and far! \n\nBring binoculars to easily spot the faraway critters like egrets\, ibises\, and blackbirds. \nBring a magnifying glass to observe the teeny-tiny bugs\, lichens\, and flowers. (Magnifying glasses can be provided\, but bring yours if you have one!)\nDon’t forget water\, a snack\, layers\, sunscreen\, and insect repellent!\n\nThis program is suitable for all ages\, however\, the total distance walked will be about 2 miles. \nPre-registration is required. Those registering as a group are only required to register ONCE\, representing the party arriving in their vehicle.
