SUMMARY:Monarch Story Time and Nature Lesson
DESCRIPTION:Join Scarborough Public Library and SLT for Monarch Story Time!\nMonarch butterflies have been added to the Endangered Species list. Come learn about what we can do to help these beautiful butterflies. Stories for all ages will be read first\, and then we will interact with the caterpillars afterwards in a nature lesson appropriate for preschool aged and older. Dress to explore the perimeter of the pond in search of caterpillars and eggs.  \nKelly Pietrzak loves to work with children: from coaching youth sports\, to leading youth nature hikes\, to homeschooling her own two children. She previously ran a nature education business for preschool aged children and has a Master’s in Education teaching mostly middle school math but also at the elementary and college level. She loves to camp\, tend her ever expanding gardens\, and trail run with the family dog. This is the third year Kelly has led walks for children with Scarborough Land Trust\, and her second year serving on SLT’s Communication\, Education\, and Outreach Committee. \nNo sign up required. \nNote SLT’s Liability and Photo Release
