SUMMARY:Introduction to Nature Photography
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with The Scarborough Public Library\, please join instructor Dan Kehlenbach for a class on Nature Photography. \nWhether alone or with others\, exploring nature with a camera is a great way to enjoy the beauty of the world around you. Nature is everywhere– you don’t have to travel to far-off destinations to make photographs. \nRequirements for class: \n\nNo experience necessary! This class is geared for the complete beginner. People with experience will also benefit from the presentations.\nA digital camera of any kind\nComputer or mobile device to edit photos (or use the library computers)\nClass notes will be provided\nRegistration for all six classes is required\n\nParticipants will learn: \n\nPhotographic techniques for a wide range of nature subjects\nEthics of nature photography and responsible practices\nProcessing photos in the “digital darkroom”\nAn appreciation for nature and skills for an enjoyable lifelong pursuit\n\nCourse Outline: \n\nIntroduction to nature photography\, cameras\, and gear — Tuesday\, April 25\, 6:30PM-7:30PM\nLandscape and scenics — Saturday\, April 29\, 1PM-2:30PM.
