DESCRIPTION:Watching fireflies is a favorite summer evening pastime for many of us. But most of us have no idea what is really taking place in a firefly meadow. Join Don Salvatore\, long time science educator at the Museum of Science in Boston and past curator of the Firefly Watch Citizen Science Project\, to learn about the “Secret Lives of Fireflies.” \nThis program is co-sponsored with our friends at Scarborough Public Library. \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \nSLT rarely cancels programs but occasionally we must\, especially in bad weather. Please check our website before heading out to a program to ensure it is still being held. \n
