Watch the video of Pleasant Hill Preserve on the beautiful new boardwalk that our amazing volunteer crew finish up in early October. Under the moonlit sky, the last nail was driven into the deck board by Toby Jacobs, SLT Stewardship Coordinator. He was cheered on by Rick Shinay, SLT Board President, and the Stewardship Committee who along with a dedicated team of weekly volunteers made the dream of a boardwalk a reality.
Our weekly Volunteer Days at Pleasant Hill Preserve will continue through mid-November. The focus will be shifting to invasive plant management and finishing trail touches.
Here is the new schedule:
- Monday 3 p.m. to dark
- Wednesday 1 – 3 p.m.
- Sunday 9-11 a.m.
