Earlier this month, SLT staff ventured out to Granite Point in Biddeford in search of the Common Ringed Plover. This is the third confirmed sighting of this species in the state of Maine. This species typically migrates from Northern Europe to Africa this time of y
ear. This Common Ringed Plover was found nestled on the beach and made his presence quite known. It was a very unique find and a beautiful day!
