Annual Spring Clean Up Day

SLT’s annual Spring Clean Up is a wonderful chance to meet your neighbors and help your Land Trust prepare for the busy summer season! This year, Clean Ups will be held at Sewell Woods, Pleasant Hill, Libby River, Broadturn Farm, Fuller Farm, Warren Woods, and Blue Point. Lead Stewards direct clean up and trail maintenance projects. Projects often include picking up litter in the welcome area, building bog bridges, spreading woodchips on trails, cutting invasive plants, etc.
You will need:
- work gloves
- eye protection
- long pants and sleeves
- sturdy water resistant footwear
- sunscreen and bug spray
SLT will provide tools and light snacks.
This is a family friendly event! Any one under the age of 15 may participate with an adult.
Safety: Please be aware that some projects may include the use of sharp tools and power tools. Use common sense and look out for each other!
