Firefly Walk – Virtual Presentation

Due to potential inclement weather, low firefly activity, and a high number of mosquitoes, tonight’s Firefly Walk has been changed to a virtual presentation via Zoom at 7:00pm. Our instructor, Don Salvatore, will offer his firefly presentation with time for questions starting at 7:00pm and lasting about an hour.

Watching fireflies is a favorite summer evening pastime for many of us. But most of us have no idea what is really taking place in a firefly meadow. Join Don Salvatore, long time science educator at the Museum of Science in Boston and past curator of the Firefly Watch Citizen Science Project to learn about the “Secret Lives of Fireflies.”
