Scarborough Land Trust is excited to welcome aboard two summer employees: Ella Hiebert – Stewardship Intern, and Henry Gustavson – Education and Communications Specialist.
Ella is here at SLT as this summer’s Stewardship Intern. She grew up in southern California, but now lives in Kansas when not in school at Colby College in Waterville. Ella is a rising senior majoring in Environmental Science with a minor in Art. She loves to camp, hike, paint, and bake! She is very excited to spend the summer in Scarborough working on SLT’s trails, meeting volunteers, and learning about Scarborough’s diverse ecosystems!
Henry is back at SLT for his second consecutive summer as the Education and Communications Specialist. Henry grew up in Massachusetts, but now lives in Scarborough with his family. He loves to fly fish, explore SLT trails, and spend time with his black lab, Angus. Henry is an Environmental Studies major with a focus in History at Middlebury College in Vermont where he also plays on the baseball team. He is excited to help organize events, create new connections, and meet as many SLT supporters as possible!
If you see Ella, Henry, or any other staff member on the trails, feel free to stop us to chat or ask a question. See you out there!
