Education and Communications Seasonal Specialist
Scarborough, Maine
The Education and Communication Seasonal Specialist will support the work of the Scarborough Land Trust (SLT). Internship duties will include developing, scheduling, and conducting nature and outdoor programs for various age groups, updating social media sites, writing articles for SLT publications, supporting the volunteer program, developing communication messages, and representing SLT at events.
The position is paid hourly at a rate of $16.50 with a usual work week of 40 hours. Some weekend and evening work required. This is a temporary position starting in June and ending in August or early September. Selected candidate will need a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
The Scarborough Land Trust is a highly respected, nonprofit organization founded in 1977. SLT’s mission is to conserve natural and agricultural land in the Town of Scarborough. The Land Trust owns and manages eight properties open to the public.
