Our 6th Annual Fresh From the Farm Dinner at Broadturn Farm was a wonderful evening with 200 long time and new friends who joined in celebrating SLT’s 40th Anniversary of Land Conservation in Scarborough.
It was a magical evening at the picturesque Broadturn Farm. Guests enjoyed a spectacular reception and meal prepared by Dandelion Catering featuring Broadturn Farm raised and harvested products and contributions from local friends. We were fortunate to have 60+ volunteers helping out, including friends from the Scarborough Marsh and Garden Club.
100% of the proceeds from the Dinner go to maintaining the buildings and land of our historic 434 acre Broadturn Farm property. This year we were able to paint the Flower Barn and finish re-siding the Long Barn. We have a healthy list of projects on the docket. Thanks to everyone’s support of this year’s Dinner, we can get a couple more projects taken care of this coming year.
