Office Hour Event: Meet the New Marsh Program Director

November 17 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Join Heather Richard, the new Scarborough Marsh Program Director, for informal office hours. This is a chance to introduce yourself, learn about current marsh projects and restoration efforts, ask questions, share ideas, and discuss what matters most to you about the future of Scarborough Marsh.

Heather grew up in Gorham, ME and is finishing up her PhD at the University of Maine. She studied Marine Biology and microplastics before she began her work as a microbiologist in salt marshes looking upstream and downstream of tidal culverts to better understand how culvert improvements alter the salt marsh microbiome.

This will be a hybrid in-person/virtual event so you can join from wherever you are or come say hello in person. Whether you’re a longtime marsh supporter or just getting involved, all are welcome!
