Summer Story Time: Monarch Caterpillars

Join us for a nature story walk at Pleasant Hill Preserve! We’ll take a short walk to the beautiful elm tree, where Kelly will read stories about monarch caterpillars. Enjoy the fresh air, discover the fascinating life cycle of monarchs, and share a special outdoor reading experience. All ages are welcome.

About Kelly Pietrzak:

Kelly loves to work with children: from coaching youth sports, to leading youth nature hikes, to homeschooling her own two children. She previously ran a nature education business for preschool aged children and has a Master’s in Education teaching mostly middle school math but also at the elementary and college level. She loves to camp, tend her ever expanding gardens, and trail run with the family dog.

Kelly has led walks for children with Scarborough Land Trust and has served on SLT’s Communication, Education, and Outreach Committee. She is passionate about connecting children with nature through hands-on learning and exploration.
