Height: Up to 5 feet tall
Light Requirement: Sun to partial shade
Soil Requirement: Wet or moist soils, prefers pH neutral to slightly acidic soils but will tolerate clay.
Wildlife Benefit: Attracts a host of pollinators feeding on nectar from the flowers including butterflies and bees. As a milkweed, it is a larval host plant for the Monarch butterfly. Hummingbirds will also visit the flowers.
