Description
Description: The daisy family member is found in the Eastern United States, often in and around wetlands. Non-dwarf varieties grown rather tall, reaching 6 feet or more. Planting in a yard requires moist soil and the plant should be the back of the plantings because of its height.
Height: 3 to 6 feet high, and 2 to 4 wide.
Light Requirement: Sun to partial shade
Soil Requirement: Moist soils, from fertile to sandy.
Wildlife Benefit: An important plant for pollinators, including butterflies, bumblebees, and other bees. The seeds are eaten by a variety of songbirds.
